This Christmas, award-winning Metta Theatre are proud to present their brand-new circus musical extravaganza, The Little Prince.

A WW2 pilot has crashed in the middle of the Sahara. If she doesn’t find water soon she’ll die. But instead of water she finds a mysterious child - the Little Prince whose imaginative adventures and tales of far off planets quench a deeper thirst.

Based on the much-loved story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and complete with spectacular circus and packed full of enchanting original songs, this uplifting tale of love and friendship is the perfect family treat this festive season.

BSL Interpreted Performances – Sunday 10 December at 3pm & Thursday 22 December at 7pm

British Sign Language interpreter Daryl McMullan will be stood at the front stage left for the whole show translating for those who use sign language. Relaxed Performance – Tuesday 20 December at 11 am

Relaxed Performances allow people with autism, learning disabilities, or sensory and communication disorders to enjoy theatre shows without having to worry about making a noise, moving around or leaving the auditorium. The performance has a less formal, more supportive atmosphere to reduce anxiety levels. Small adjustments will be made to this performance to make it more accessible. The house lights will be left on a half strength so that the theatre doesn’t ever go completely dark. Some loud noises, flashing lights and pyrotechnics may be left out of the show. Audio Described performance – Tuesday 21 December at 7pm

The show will feature a live commentary describing the action on the stage, delivered to participating audience members via a headset.
